Jo's Co #19

Mais um mês a chegar ao fim e mais um Jo's Co. Estava difícil agilizar e conseguir este post a tempo e horas, mas consegui!!!
O mês de Dezembro foi mais curto que o de Fevereiro. Não sei se vocês têm a mesma sensação mas para mim passou a correr, e esta semana entre natal e ano novo mal soube a férias de tão cheia que foi. Por isso, e já que tenho a minha irmã sempre aqui ao lado, foi ela a escolhida para estas fotos. Na verdade já tinha pensado fotografa-la noutro fim de semana, ela tinha um maxi vestido floral e um blusão de camurça vermelho, e estava tão top!! Mas depois não se proporcionou, quando demos por ela já não havia luz boa para fotografar... Então, hoje agarrei na câmara e depois de sairmos do shopping fotografei-a na hora. E não podia ter sido melhor o timing, este look está maravilhoso, chique e confortável e ainda assim a cara do inverno! Gostam? Eu adorei!

Another month to come to an end and another Jo's Co. It was difficult to speed up and get this post in time and hours, but I got it!!!
The month of December was shorter than the month of February. I don't know if you have the same feeling but for me it passed runing, and this week between Christmas and New Year don't look like holidays of so full it was. So, since I have my sister always here, she was the one chosen for these photos. In fact I had already thought about photographing her in another weekend, she had a maxi floral dress and a red suede windbreaker, and she looked so cool!! But later it didn't work, when we went to take photos there was no good light to shoot... So today I grabbed the camera and after we left the mall I photographed her. And it couldn't have been better timing, this look is wonderful, chic and comfortable and yet the face of winter! Do you like? I loved it!

Estamos a menos de uma semana da noite de natal, e se vocês achavam que eu não vinha aqui deixar a minha lista estavam muito enganadinhos!! Nada destas coisas são coisas que eu esteja realmente a precisar, porque na verdade não há nada material que me faça verdadeiramente falta, e ainda bem!! Mas se eu pudesse escolher, podia ser qualquer uma destas coisas a cair da chaminé até ao meu sapatinho.
Adoro as botas pretas, e sim, eu já tenho uns quantos pares de botas pretas, mas botas pretas nunca são demasiadas tá?!, o anel era perfeito para juntar ao kit que uso sempre, o colar com a medalha ia ficar lindo em cima das malhas de gola alta neste inverno, a mala pequena a tira-colo super prática, as sapatilhas bem ao estilo daddy shoes e o perfume que é só assim maravilhoso!! Vá Pai Natal, escolhe!!

We're less than a week from Christmas night, and if you thought I wouldn't come here to leave my list you were very mistaken!! None of these things are things that I really need, because in fact there's nothing material that really makes me miss, and still good!! But if I could choose, it could be any of these things falling from the chimney to my slipper.
I love the black boots, and yes, I already have a few pairs of black boots, but black boots are never too many ok?!, the ring was perfect to join the kit I always use, the necklace with the medal was going to look beautiful on top of the high-necked knitwear this winter, the small suitcase that's super practice, the sneakers well in daddy shoes style and the perfume that is just so wonderful!! Go Santa, choose!

Teddy bear coat
Não é a primeira vez que falo de casacos de pêlo por aqui, mas se há um ano atrás a tendência eram os casacos coloridos, como amarelo, vermelho, azul e rosa, este ano o que não faltam são opções ao estilo ursinho de peluche. No ano passado andei literalmente atrás de um modelo da Mango, que esgotou em todo o lado, era castanho, grande e lindo de morrer. Cheguei a experimentar na loja de outra cor e era mesmo mesmo quente! E se há coisa que esta tendência nos permite é mesmo ficar quentes e confortáveis em ambientes menos amenos. Eu adoro casacos de pêlo, e seleccionei aqui uns quantos em tons mais claros, só para contrariar as cores mais escuras que povoam por natureza a estação fria. Quem é fã? Contem-me!!

Teddy bear coat
It's not the first time I've talked about fur coats around here, but if a year ago the trend was the colorful coats, such as yellow, red, blue and pink, this year there are plenty of teddy bear options. Last year I was literally behind a model of Mango, which sold out everywhere, was brown, big and beautiful to die for. I got to try it in the store in another color and it was even really hot! And if there is one thing that this trend allows us to do is to stay warm and comfortable in less pleasant and hot surroundings. I love fur coats, and I have selected a few in lighter shades here, just to counteract the darker colors that populate the cold season by nature. Who's a fan? Tell me!!

Há meses que estava a pensar convidar a Sónia para esta rúbrica, e quando soube que ela ia embora da empresa apressei-me logo a convida-la, e ela aceitou de imediato. Adoro quando o pessoal alinha nesta brincadeira comigo! Mas voltemos à Sónia, além de a achar gira que se farta (sim, a Sónia é a miúda mais bonita da empresa!!!), acho que tem um estilo muito único, simples e elegante, trendy e chamativo q.b.. Adoro a vibe descomplicada dela, e não me lembro de ver a Sónia mal vestida uma vez que seja. Durante as fotos confessou-me até que em tempos pensou criar um blog, e eu acho um desperdício tamanho ela não o ter feito!! Ela vai sair da empresa mas é daquelas pessoas que espero conseguir manter contacto, e quem sabe, a voltem a ver por aqui! Que acham?!

For months I had been thinking of inviting Sónia to this rubric, and when I heard she'll leave the company I hurriedly invited her, and she immediately accepted. I love it when people line up in this game with me! But let's go back to Sónia, besides thninking her absolutly gorgeous (yes, Sónia is the most beautiful girl in the firm!!!), I think she has a very unique style, simple and elegant, trendy and flashy enough. I love her uncomplicated vibe, and I don't remember seeing Sónia barely dressed only once. During the photos she confessed to me that in the past she thought to create a blog, and I find it a waste that she didn't do it!! She will leave the company but she's one of those people that I hope to be able to maintain contact, and who knows, you can see her here again! What do you think?!

Lady

É verdade que a roupa que vestimos é uma extensão de nós mesmos, do que nos vai na alma e do que queremos comunicar. E começando assim podia vir agora falar de inúmeras coisas que me têm acontecido ultimamente, sempre relacionadas com a forma como me visto e como as pessoas à minha volta vão reagindo a isso, mas vou contar-vos uma coisa que me aconteceu há um mês. Não sei quanto a vós mas quando vejo algum turista em "apuros" ajudo logo. Penso sempre que gostava que fizessem o mesmo comigo, por isso ajudo sempre... e depois sou uma tagarela, acabo invariavelmente a meter conversa, pergunto se estão a gostar de cá estar e lá vou dando dicas de sítios para ver e comer, acho um piadão! Naquele dia estava eu assim vestida (sim, aqui repetimos looks), à espera do comboio com destino ao Porto, quando conheci um casal de holandeses. Queriam ir para o Porto também e estavam com dificuldades em tirar os bilhetes. Ajudei-os e pronto, lá estivemos uma meia hora na conversa. Falamos de tanta coisa, de comida, do clima, dos sítios que eles já tinham visitado e dos que iam visitar, dos que decidiram visitar porque lhes recomendei, de doces, de economia, de hábitos e costumes dos portugueses, ufa... e quase no fim acabei por lhes dizer o que ia fazer ao Porto, quando a reacção deles foi "Ahn, por isso estás assim vestida!". Não encarei o comentário de forma depreciativa, de jeito nenhum, eles eram uns queridos, e na verdade eu queria um look mais cuidado e acho que até eles entenderam o propósito! Não sou muito de saias midi, diariamente uso muito  jeans, mas confesso que esta é daquelas peças que facilmente dá aquele toque mais senhorinha ao look, não acham?

It is true that the clothing we wear is an extension of ourselves, of what goes into our soul and what we want to communicate. And beginning with that, I could now come to talk about countless things that have happened to me lately, always related to the way I dress and how people around me are reacting to it, but I'm going to tell you something that happened to me a month ago. I don't know about you but when I see some tourists in "trouble" I help them. I always think that I would like them to do the same to me, so I always help... and then I'm a chatterbox, I invariably end up talking, I ask if they like to be here and I end up giving tips on places to see and eat, I think it's funny! That day I was dressed like that (yes, here we repeated looks), waiting for the train to Porto, when I met a Dutch couple. They wanted to go to Porto too and they were having trouble getting tickets. I helped them, and then we start talking while we're waiting the train for half an hour. We talked about so much, food, the weather, the places they had visited and those who were going to visit, those who decided to visit because I recommended them, candys, economy, habits and customs of the Portugueses... and almost at the end I told them what I was going to do at Porto, when their reaction was "Oh, that's why you're dressed like that!". I didn't look at the comment in a derogatory way, no way, they were dear ones, and in fact I wanted a more careful look and I think even they understood the purpose! I'm not much of a midi skirt, I wear a lot of jeans every day, but I confess that this is one of those pieces that easily gives that "lady" touch to the look, don't you think?
