Tie-dye
Quem nunca atou uma t-shirt com cordão e a atirou para uma bacia com tinta ou mesmo lixívia? É verdade, é o come back do tie-dye! A tendência associado aos hippies nos anos 60, que voltou com tudo na década de 90, está aqui outra vez para rivalizar com os típicos padrões primaveris às flores ou riscas. Esteve presente nos desfiles de Stella McCartney e Chloé e rapidamente se instalou no street style. Usa-se com jeans e sapatilhas, para um resultado descontraído, e também com peças mais clássicas, como fatos, gabardinas, blazers ou saias e saltos altos para um visual desconstruído. Prefiram as cores lisas nas peças que conjugam com esta tendência, para o resultado ser impactante mas ainda assim harmonioso, ou então, se se sentem capazes de segurar a tendência, optem por peças combinadas em total look (camisa e saia por exemplo). Para um toque mais sofisticado optem por cores escuras, para fugir aos néons que mais facilmente se confundirão com um DIY.
Pode parecer estranho regressar a esta tendência, mas ela aparece reinventada, chic e moderna, e se até Anna Wintour aderiu, podem crer que é sucesso!

Tie-dye
Who never tied a t-shirt with a drawstring and tossed it into a bowl with paint or even bleach? It's true, it's the tie-dye's come back! The trend associated to hippies in the 60's, which came back with everything in the 90's, is here again to rival the typical spring patterns with flowers or stripes. It was present in the parades of Stella McCartney and Chloé and quickly settled into the street style. It is worn with jeans and sneakers, for a relaxed result, and also with more classic pieces such as suits, raincoats, blazers or skirts and high heels for a deconstructed look. You should prefer the smooth colors in the pieces that you combine with this trend, for the result to be impressive but still harmonious, or if you feel able to hold the trend, opt for combined pieces in total look (shirt and skirt for example). For a more sophisticated touch, opt for dark colors to escape the neons that will most easily be confused with a DIY.
It may seem strange to return to this trend, but it appears reinvented, chic and modern, and if even Anna Wintour has joined, you may believe it's successful!

Sei que passou mais de um mês sem que vos trouxesse aqui uma pessoa nova, mas desta vez trago-vos mesmo alguém novo, pela primeira vez aqui no blog! A Kika é a minha mais recente prima, é namorada de um dos muitos primos que tenho, um dos que, por sinal, também já apareceu por cá! Se me seguem pelo insta já viram um pouco deste look e uma curiosidade em relação às sandálias.
No dia anterior ao dia em que fotografamos estivemos juntas num jantar de aniversário. Em conversa alguém perguntou "Já sabes o que vais vestir amanhã?" e lá respondi que ia repetir um look que já tinha fotografado aqui para o blog, ao que surge um "Ahhhh mas então e sandálias? As que usaste nesse look são minhas!!", e eu já tinha alternativa pensada. Nesse momento fiquei a saber que a Kika tinha umas sandálias iguais às minhas e que ia usa-las também no dia seguinte! Coincidência!! Então se dúvidas houvessem que eu levarias as minhas Kendal + Kylie à festa, elas deixaram de existir naquele momento, e no dia seguinte lá estávamos nós a combinar! Não sabia qual seria o look dela, mas pensei logo que tinha de a fotografar, e está à vista o resultado! Simples, elegante, com personalidade! A Kika tem esta vibe descomplicada e cool mas sempre sem perder a compostura! E eu adoro isso!!! O mesmo se traduz na sua marca e nas jóias que ela faz. Kika is my newest cousin, she is the girlfriend of one of the many cousins ​​I have, one of that has already appeared here! The day before the day we photographed, we were together for a birthday dinner. I didn't know what her look would look like, but I thought I had to photograph her, and the result is in sight! Simple, elegant, with personality! It's a rush

Hey, ainda está alguém aí? Bem, passado um mês, I’m back. Confesso que não tem sido nada fácil manter o blog actualizado. Com as obras do apartamento, que começaram em Fevereiro do ano passado e se foram arrastando, com problemas e muitos imprevistos que foram surgindo no decorrer das mesmas, mais a necessidade de mobilar e começar a decorar o nosso lar doce lar, fui ficando sem tempo e sem energia para dar a devida atenção aqui ao blog. Isto para não mencionar sequer toda a burocracia que envolve contratos de água, luz, gás, tv/net, ufa, não nutro particular interesse por esta parte da vida adulta, mas felizmente já está tudo a rolar! No entanto, e porque as horas do dia não esticam ainda, alguns posts foram ficando esquecidos e deixados em stand by, outros deixaram de fazer sentido porque não aproveitando determinado timing achei já não ser oportuno falar do assunt X ou Y… Confesso que todo este rebuliço se traduziu em alguma confusão mas já arranjei estratégias para não deixar tarefas penduradas. As mais vitais vão sendo feitas, e tenciono aos poucos voltar aqui, a alimentar o blog convenientemente, que não sendo uma tarefa vital à minha existência é algo que me dá muito gozo. Não sei se ainda há por aí muita gente a ler blogs, mas isto é mais um registo meu do que a necessidade de aprovação traduzida em views e comentários. Por isso, se as coisas se mantiverem encaminhadas deste lado, desse lado podem contar com mais publicações. Entretanto deixo-vos com um look bem básico, daqueles que poderia perfeitamente usar no trabalho ou numa saída descontraída de domingo, que foi o caso. Espero que gostem!

Hey, is anybody there? Well, after a month, I'm back. I confess that it hasn't been easy to keep the blog updated. With the constructions of the apartment, which began las year in February and were dragged along, with problems and many unforeseen events that arose in the course, plus the need to furnish and begin to decorate our home sweet home, I was running out of time and had no energy to give the right attention here to the blog. This not to mention even all the bureaucracy that involves contracts of water, electricity, gas, tv/net, ufa, I have no particular interest in this part of adult life, but fortunately everything is already rolling! However, and because the hours of the day don't stretch yet, some posts were getting forgotten and left in stand by, others stopped making sense because not taking advantage of certain timing I found it no longer appropriate to talk about assunt X or Y... I confess that all this noise has translated into some confusion but I have already gotten strategies for not leaving tasks hanging. The most vital ones are being made, and I intend gradually to return here, to feed the blog conveniently, which is not a vital task to my existence but is something that gives me much joy. I don't know if there are a lot of people out there reading blogs, but this is more a record for me than the need for approval translated into views and comments. So if things keep going this way, on that side you can count on more publications. Jonas the dog

Não tenho por hábito mostrar-vos aqui os animais cá de casa, mas este cão é tão fofo e doido que tenho de vos contar a história dele. Cá em casa os únicos animais que compramos foram os peixes o aquário, os cães e gatos que vão vivendo por aqui foram todos adoptados. Eram animais abandonados, que ninguém queria, que encontramos numa valeta ou que simplesmente apareceram por cá e foram acolhidos. Com o Jonas foi diferente. Ele tinha outra casa, mas não eram as melhores as condições em que ele vivia. A antiga dona acabou por o entregar à minha irmã, ela sabia que não conseguiria tomar conta do cão e quis dá-lo a alguém que soubesse que o faria bem, e a minha irmã sempre adorou estes cães... ainda dizem que o destino não existe! Adoptamos o Jonas já adulto, e é incrível o carinho e gratidão que ele tem connosco. Nós somos mesmo o mundo dele! Na primeira semana que chegou queria lamber a cara a toda a gente, ainda quer, mas já sabe que eu não gosto muito de beijos ahahahahah, adora mimos e começa a chamar-me quando me ouve a chegar com o carro depois do trabalho, já percebeu que se fizer um choradinho lá lhe vamos dar colo, manhosoooo, mas eu gosto tanto deste cachorro que vocês nem imaginam!
Neste dia a minha irmã teve a ideia de irmos fotografar nesta rua por estar cheia de flores, tínhamos estado a brincar com o cão de manhã e até lhe disse "vamos leva-lo!", e pronto, Não foi fácil fotografar com ele, mas foi diferente e divertido!

I have no habit to show you here on the blog the animals who live here at home, but this dog is so cute and crazy that I have to tell you his story. Here at home the only animals we bought were the fishes from the aquarium, the dogs and cats that live here were all adopted. They were abandoned animals that nobody wanted, that we found in a ditch or they just appeared here and were welcomed. With Jonas it was different. He had another home, but the conditions in which he lived were not the best. The other family gave it to my sister, they knew they would not be able to take care of the dog and wanted to give it to someone they knew would do it well, and my sister always loved these dogs... still say that destiny doesn't exist! We have adopted Jonas as an adult dog, and it's incredible the affection and gratitude he has with us. We are indeed his world! The first week that he arrived he wanted to lick everyone's face, still wants to, but he already know that I don't really like kisses ahahahahah, loves pampering and starts calling me when he hears me arriving with the car after work, he already realized that if he do a little cry we will give him lap, sly, but I like this dog so much that you can't even imagine!
On this day my sister had the idea of ​​going to photograph on this street because it was full of flowers, we had been playing with the dog in the morning and I told her "let's take the dog with us!", and that's it, it wasn't easy to photograph with him, but it was different and fun!

Cycling shorts
Já não vos trazia esta rubrica há meses, e se é para voltar que seja em grande! Vamos falar de uma tendência polémica? Acho que os cycling/biker shorts são, a par do néon, das tendências menos consensuais dos últimos tempos. Não sei se vou aderir mas queria muito falar-vos dela aqui. Como tudo na moda é cíclico esta tendência não é excepção. Pudemos vê-la em look de passerelle nos anos 90 na Chanel e entretanto muitos outros designers a trouxeram de volta. É frequente ver as manas Kardashian/Jenner com estes calções, mas prefiro focar as minhas referências na Princesa Diana, que embora não os tenha usado em contexto mais formal, era excelente naqueles looks básicos de saída do ginásio. Não me vejo a usar esta tendência, but never say never, e há que manter a mente aberta. Por isso a minha dica é, se têm umas pernas como as da princesa do povo e um estilo mais arrojado go for it. Prefiro os pretos, mas em geral acho que combinam lindamente com t-shirts ou camisas básicas, de preferência do mesmo tom dos calções, e com um blazer e uns saltos altos (botas ou sandálias), isto de modo a conseguir quebrar a imagem marcadamente desportiva dos calções e obter um look mais elegante.

Cycling shorts
I don't bring this line for months, and if it's to come back it must be in a big way! Let's talk about a polemical trend? I think cycling/biker shorts are, along with the neon trend, the less consensual tendencies of recent times. I don't know if I'll use it, but I really wanted to tell you about it here. As everything in fashion is cyclical this trend is no exception. We were able to see it on runway in the 90's at Chanel and many other designers take the trend back now. It's often see Kardashian/Jenner sisters with these shorts, but I prefer to focus my references in Princess Diana, which although didn't use them in a more formal context, was the best using this shorts with that go out of the gym looks. I don't see myself with this tendency, but never say never, and we must have an open mind. So my tip is, if you have this princess's legs and a more dashing style go for it. I prefer the black ones but in general I think they combine beautifully with t-shirts or shirts, preferably of the same color as the shorts, and with a blazer and high heels (boots os sandals), that is a way to break that markedly sporty image of the shorts and to have a more elegant look.

Por agora deixo-vos com mais dois desfiles que amei, e para que isto não fique demasiado maçudo vou intercalando com outro tipo de publicações. Stay tuned!

Second post about Postugal Fashion, and it will not be the last one! Alves/Gonçalves

As propostas desta dupla surpreenderam-me, foram dos meus looks preferidos, e uma das razões pelas quais quero que os dias frios continuem por aqui. Desculpem-me os amantes das estações quentes do ano, eu também as adoro, mas esta colecção está só MARAVILHOSA! As silhuetas são esguias, elegantes e ainda assim com um toque muito rebelde, que eu amei! Não faltaram os acolchoados e o acabamento vinil que nos remete imediatamente para as estações frias do ano, e muitas silhuetas com a cintura marcada com cintos bem largos. A paleta de cores focou-se maioritariamente nos pretos e azuis escuros, sem deixar de parte os tons neutros que são cada vez mais frequentes nas colecções outono/inverno. Gostei tanto que podia mudar-me já para o hemisfério sul, quero vestir-me assim!

The proposals of this pair surprised me, this were some of mine favorite looks, and one of the reasons why I want the cold days continue here. Sorry for the lovers of the hot seasons of the year, I love them too, but this collection is just WONDERFUL! The silhouettes are slender, elegant and yet with a very rebellious touch, which I loved! There were plenty of quilts and vinyl finishes that immediately remind us the cold seasons of the year, and many waists with wide belts. The color palette was mainly focused on blacks and dark blues, without leaving aside the neutral tones that are increasingly frequent in the autumn/winter collections. I liked it so much that I could move now to the southern hemisphere, I want to dress like that!

Diogo Miranda
Diogo Miranda é outro dos meus preferidos de sempre no Portugal Fashion. Esta colecção teve como inspiração a personagem Éliane do filme "Indochina", e uma vez mais o resultado é um conjunto de looks compostos por vestidos, saias, blusas e calças perfeitos para usar em ocasiões festivas e cocktails. As silhuetas são clássicas e sofisticadas, como já nos tem habituado estação após estação, onde não faltam os volumes, ombros marcados e cinturas marcadas assim como motivos náuticos. Meninas que vão ter casamentos e festas que requerem um look on point, ponham os vossos olhos nisto!!! Lindo!!!

Diogo Miranda is another of my favorites in Portugal Fashion. This collection was inspired by the character Éliane from the film "Indochina", and once again the result is a set of looks composed of dresses, skirts, sweaters and pants perfect to wear on festive occasions and cocktails. The silhouettes are classic and sophisticated, as he have already accustomed us season after season, where there are volumes, marked shoulders and marked waists with belts as well as nautical motifs. Girls that are going to have weddings and parties that require an outfit on point, put your eyes on it!!! Beautiful!!!

Still winter

Bem me pareceu que aqueles dias de sol há uma semana atrás eram literalmente sol de pouca dura, o que na verdade até me deixou contente. Gosto muito dos dias quentes, por serem quentes mesmo, mas também por serem maiores, dias com mais horas de dia passando a redundância. Mesmo assim não gosto de dias de calor quando é suposto estar frio ainda, e quando falo de dias de calor refiro-me a dias com temperaturas a rondar os 20 graus no inverno ou início de primavera. Não gosto, para mim há coisas que não combinam, é quase como ter um dia de verão no Natal, para mim, Natal que é Natal tem de ser frio!! Mas porquê toda esta conversa? Basicamente só para vos dizer que ainda tenho muita vontade de usar as minhas camisolas de malha quentinhas e quero que estes dias frios se mantenham por isso mesmo! Esta aqui foi um achado há um ou dois anos nos saldos! É tão mas tão quentinha!!! Podia muito bem viver dentro dela se todos os meus casacos tivessem mangas tão largas que o permitissem. Mas neste dia não foi preciso casaco, por isso o look ficou assim, bem simples e básico, se é que se pode dizer que umas calças com um padrão a lembrar Versace sejam básicas… aniway, esperem pelo look completo com calças e camisa, ele virá!

It's so but so warm!!! I could easily live inside her if all my coats had sleeves that were wide enough to allow it. But this day didn't need a jacket, so the look was so simple and basic, if you I can say that pants with a pattern who remember Versace are basic... aniway, wait for the complete look with pants and shirt, he will come!

A Fabiana já é uma habitué por aqui! Não é a primeira, nem a segunda, mas sim a terceira vez que vos trago um look dela. Se forem espreitar os outros posts onde ela aparece vão constatar que ela está diferente, contudo há três coisas que não mudaram nada: a presença de óculos de sol, uma mala preta e uma pinta que não tem fim. Mas mais do que falar-vos de coisas que são evidentes deixem-me dizer-vos que a Fabiana tem um projecto muito interessante no insta. É uma lojinha online de roupa usada, mas Esta Não é Uma Loja Qualquer! Aqui há roupa que merece uma segunda oportunidade de verdade, roupa que se foi acumulando, ficando esquecida no fundo do armário, comprada um pouco por impulso, e que se contam pelos dedos de uma mão as vezes que viu a luz do dia. Há por lá roupa nova mesmo, com etiqueta! Do que estão à espera para ir conhecer este projecto da minha prima que muito me orgulha? Estamos cada vez mais conscientes da forma como consumimos moda, e isso é lindo! Há muito que comprar roupa em segunda mão deixou de ser algo depreciativo, acho na verdade bem cool!

PT Fashion shows

Miguel Vieira

Já vos tinha mostrado aqui no blog as propostas de Miguel Vieira para o Outono Inverno 2019/2020, mas apenas a colecção masculina, que foi apresentada em Milão no início do ano. Na semana passada terminou o Portugal Fashion, e consegui finalmente ver ao vivo e a cores a colecção toda, da qual faziam parte algumas propostas femininas, que são precisamente as que vos mostro aqui hoje. Eu já tinha amado a colecção masculina, e confesso-vos que estava super expectante para ver o que ia ser apresentado para mulher. As minhas expectativas não saíram de todo defraudadas, eu adorei mesmo esta colecção! Sinto que é totalemte moda autoral mas super usável, e eu adoro isso! A paleta de cores focou-se muito em tons azuis nas propostas femininas e não faltaram os brilhos nem os padrões com a inicial M. Já os cortes são intemporais, como já nos habituou o criador, mas ainda assim com um toque jovem e actual. Well done!! 

I had already shown you here Miguel Vieira's proposals for the Autumn/Winter 2019/2020, but only the men's collection, which was presented in Milan earlier this year. Last week occured Portugal Fashion, and I was able to see the whole collection live finally, which included some feminine proposals, which are precisely what I show you here today. I had already loved the men's collection, and I confess I was super expectant to see what was going to be presented to women. My expectations were not disappoint at all, I really loved this collection! I feel that it's totally authorial but super wearable, and I love it! The color palette was very focused on blue tones in the female proposals and there were glitters or patterns with the initial M. The cuts are timeless, as the creator has accustomed us, but still with a young and current touch. Well done!!

Lembram-se do Litos? Apareceu aqui no blog, pela primeira vez, em Novembro de 2017. Nossa, e agora acabei de realizar que já passou tanto tempo, e ele já foi o sétimo a aparecer por aqui! O Litos está de volta, e para quem não se lembra, é um dos meus muitos primos. Sim, tirando eu, a minha irmã e a minha prima Fabiana (que também já apareceram por aqui mais do que uma vez), são só primos que tenho. E o Litos é um dos que me é mais próximo, e de todos acho que o mais louco!! Não que os outros sejam demasiado certinhos e atinados, que não o são, mas o Litos é o meu primo mais animado, mais crazy, mais viajado, o que me acompanhou em algumas semanas de Portugal Fashion (as primeiras foram sempre com ele), é aquele que tem sempre montes de histórias para contar, e são sempre de rir! Já não estava com este marmelo há uns tempos, foi viajar e voltou há umas semanas e eu lembrei-me logo que ia ser boa ideia aproveitar aquele bronze que ele trazia do outro lado do mundo, assim como o bom tempo que se fez sentir nos últimos dias por aqui. Por isso o resultado é um pouco mais primaveril, simples mas muito cool, como vocês já sabem que eu gosto.

Tenho andado desaparecida daqui do blog, mas ultimamente não tenho conseguido fotografar sempre que visto alguma coisa nova ou acho que o look mereça ser mostrado aqui. Confesso que tenho andado um pouco preguiçosa também (e que essa preguiça se tem vindo a arrastar nos últimos meses), sim, porque isto de tirar fotos, editar e publicar dá mais trabalho do que parece. Mas adiante, e porque não vim aqui para me queixar, queria apenas dizer-vos que a minha obsessão por casacos se mantém forte e inalterada. Já tinha no armário uma gabardina azul marinha, num tecido mais fino e por isso ideal para a primavera, uma bege tipo camurça, mas também fininha, e não tinha nenhuma verdadeiramente quente e mais robusta que pudesse usar no inverno. Foi isso que me fez comprar esta nos saldos de inverno do ano passado. O desconto com que ela estava também!! Acho que foi um verdadeiro achado tendo em conta a qualidade e os acabamentos dela (que mesmo sendo Zara estão bem bons). Sei que praticamente não a mostrei aqui mas uso-a mais vezes do que possam pensar. E adoro que seja assim, abotoada de cima a baixo, sobre um look monocromático, e com algum acessório mais vistoso. Ela é bem quentinha e prática, impermeável e grandalhona, assim numa onda mais ouversized como eu gosto. Podia fazer disto um uniforme, acreditem.

Know I have been away from this blog, but lately I haven't been able to photograph whenever I wear something new or I think the look deserves to be shown here. I confess that I have been a bit lazy too (and that this laziness has been dragging in the last months), yes, because this of taking photos, editing and publishing gives more work than it seems. But then, and because I didn't come here to complain, I just wanted to tell you that my obsecion for coats remains strong and unchanged. I already had a navy-blue gabardine in a thinner fabric, so perfect for spring, a suede-like beige one, but thin too, and I didn't have none truly hot and sturdy that I could wear in the winter. That's what made me buy this one in the winter balances last year. The discount that it got too!! I think it was a real find considering the quality and finishes of it (that even being Zara are very good). I know I haven't practically shown it here but I use it more often than you can think. And I love it that way, buttoned from top to bottom, on a monochromatic look, and with some more showy accessory. It's very warm and practical, waterproof and big, on a more orversized cut as I like. I could make this a uniform, believe me.
