Levi's

Do fim-de-semana passado. Finalmente parou a chuva e parece que o sol veio para ficar. Pelo menos veio em força! Ainda não fiz praia este ano mas já conto com dois escaldões – shame on me!! – por isso os meus looks são cada vez mais frescos e descontraídos. Neste dia andei pela baixa do Porto com a Marlene do blog Inspirations with M (visitem o blog, ela é uma querida), mas podia perfeitamente ter usado este look numa esplanada qualquer perto da praia, com petiscos e algo fresquinho para beber.
Como estava calor fomos lanchar no Moustache e aproveitei para pedir um smoothie de frutos vermelhos. Nunca lá tinha ido antes, gostei imenso! Ainda houve tempo para passear pela baixa, a cidade está sempre com imensos turistas, já vos disse aqui antes que adoro toda essa agitação.
Apesar do calor não consigo ainda largar o casaco, porque ao final da tarde e de noite faz sempre vento, estamos no Norte "carago"! Mesmo assim é provável que passem a ver muitas t-shirts e tops por aqui nas próximas publicações. Estou tão neste mood... Gostam?

From the last weekend. Finally stopped the rain and it looks like the sun is here to stay. At least it came into force! I haven't done beach this year but I already count with two scalds - shame on me!! - so my looks now are increasingly fresh and relaxed. This day I walked through Porto's downtown with Marlene from the blog Inspirations with M (visit the blog, she's a sweetheart), but I could well have used this look in any terrace near the beach, with snacks and something freshly to drink.
As it was hot we were snacking on Moustache and I decided to try a red fruits smoothie. Never had gone there before but I liked a lot! There was still time to stroll through the downtown, the city is always with immense tourists and I have told you here before I love all this movement.
Despite the heat I can't even drop the coat because at the late afternoon and evening is always wind, we are in the North! However, you should start see here a lot of t-shirts and tops in the next publications. I'm so in the mood... Do you like?

Eu não vos disse que esta altura do ano é realmente a Party Season? Aqui estão as fotos de mais um look de festa. Foi este o mesmo look que usei numa das comunhões que tive este ano. Não fotografei logo no dia porque, como já tinha dito aqui, estava super cansada… Claro, quem me manda ir com estes belos sapatos para o Outlet em Vila do Conte na última quinta do mês?! Não vos vou dizer que são a coisa mais confortável do mundo, lógico, mas até consigo andar bem com eles, mas naquele dia caminhei tanto, mas TANTO, e estes sapatos com zero compensação roubaram-me qualquer ponta de vontade para fotos!
Este fim-de-semana não houveram festas, aliás o domingo acabou mal! O Alberto Contador cá de casa (entenda-se o senhor meu pai) teve uma queda aparatosa de bicicleta. Estava longe de casa, teve de passar a noite no hospital, mas já voltamos todos para casa, e ele está bem e em recuperação. Por isso, e para não quebrar o ritmo o que temos sexta? Mais uma festa claro está! Vou tentar fotografar o look, possivelmente muito mais descontraído que os últimos mas depois explico. Beijos e resto de boa semana para todos*

Haven't I todl you that this time of year is really the Party Season? Here are the photos of another party look. This was the same look I used in one of communions I had this year. Not photographed it that day because, as I already said here, I was super tired... Of course, who tells me to go with these beautiful shoes for the Outlet in a last Thursday of the month?! I am not going to say they are the most comfortable thing in the world, of course, but I can walk well with them, but that day I walked so much, but so MUCH, and these shoes with zero compensation robbed me any desire to take off photos!
This end-of-week there were no parties, moreover the Sunday ended badly! The Alberto Contador from here home (meaning, my father) had a ostentatiously fall on bike. He was away from home, he had to spend the night in the hospital, but we all have been back home, and he is well and recovering. Therefore, and not to break the rhythm what we have this Friday? Another party is clear! I'll try to photograph the look, possibly much more relaxed than the latter but after I'll explain. Kisses and good rest week for you all*

New in!

Post rápido para vos mostrar a minha última aquisição. Tenho feito muito menos compras apesar da minha lista ser verdadeiramente enorme, como sempre! A verdade é que desde a última arrumação do armário tenho mais noção daquilo que tenho e do que realmente preciso. E depois vocês perguntam "Yah Jo, e compras outra t-shirt branca?"... Inevitável meus amores! Eu adoro t-shirts brancas com estampados, mensagens, etc., e esta da Levi's é ligeiramente diferente das que tenho. Confesso que não sou muito fã de logótipos estampados nas camisolas mas esta é um clássico. Comprei-a no The Style Outlet em Vila do Conde, numa daquelas mega quinta-feiras com imensos descontos. Tal como a da Coca-Cola (que já usei e não fotografei - shame on me), acho que vai ficar linda com uns jeans, simples simples!

Quick post to show you my latest acquisition. I have done much less shopping despite my list is really huge, as always! The truth is that since the last storage cabinet I have more sense of what I have and what I really need. And then you ask "Yah Jo, and you buying another white t-shirt?" ... Inevitable my loves! I love white T-shirts with prints, messages, etc., and that Levi's is slightly different from what I have. I confess that I'm not a fan of printed logos on sweatshirts but this is a classic. I bought it at The Style Outlet in Vila do Conde, on one of those mega Thursdays with huge discounts. Such as Coca-Cola (I've used and not photographed - shame on me), I think it will be beautiful with jeans, simple simple!

De volta aos posts Trend alert! As mules (chinelos com tacão) tiveram o seu boom no verão passado mas uma vez mais são tendência nesta estação quente! Estou muito in love pelo modelo Gucci que mostrei à tempos no facebook (quem ainda não fez GOSTO é fazer!!).
Tenho umas da Zara e adoro-as! Dão para usar com calças, jeans, shorts, saias compridas, midi ou mini, vestidos mini ou maxi, ou seja, TUDO! Dependendo do modelo são mais ou menos sofisticadas. Eu cá não sou esquisita, gosto de todas, mas confesso a minha preferência pelos tacões quadrados!

Back to Trend alert posts! The mules (slippers with heel) had their boom last summer but they are trend this hot season again! I'm so in love by Gucci model that I showed some time ago on facebook (who didn't made LIKE should do!!).
I have one model from Zara and I love them! They give to wear with pants, jeans, shorts, long skirts, midi or mini, mini dresses or maxi, ie, EVERYTHING! Depending on the model they are more or less sophisticated! I'm not weird, I like them all, but I confess my preference for square heels!

Party season

E depois de um fim-de-semana longo continuamos com looks! Aproveitei o feriado de quinta e marquei um dia de férias na sexta. Confesso que a chuva me trocou os planos mas ainda assim soube bem quebrar a rotina.
Esta pausa no trabalho foi marcada por festas. É verdade, esta altura do ano é propícia a comemorações… são casamentos, batizados, comunhões, e a juntar a isso tenho sempre alguns aniversários. Este ano abundaram as comunhões, foram três. Comidinha da boa, família, sol… Adoro isto! As últimas calharam quinta e domingo. O look de quinta não fotografei, estava tão cansada que nem paciência para fotos tive. Mas prometo que o vou repetir, porque adorei o resultado e quero mostrar-vos aqui!!
O look de domingo foi um stress. Eu não comprei roupa nova para nenhuma das festas, já tinha aqui em casa peças por estrear e o São Pedro anda demasiado indeciso para que qualquer comum mortal ouse sequer investir num modelito que na hora da verdade fica inadequado. A verdade é que a manhã começou com chuvinha da boa, e eu logo em modo birra porque o que estava a pensar usar ia ser ridículo com um tempo daqueles. Nestas alturas o melhor é descomplicar, e foi este o resultado! Troquei as calças brancas por uns jeans. Usei a camisa às riscas nova, e para dar um up ao look juntei uns sapatos prateados e o colete branco, e lá vai ela! Missinha longa mas com direito a musicas coreografadas, alegria e balões no ar que os miúdos merecem. No restaurante não faltou comida BOA!! E eu, gulosa confessa, nem comi o prato de carne, pois claro, tinha de guardar um espacinho para este bolo que estava DI-VI-NAL. E pronto, foi assim o meu domingo! E desse lado, alguém em modo festa também?

And after a long weekend we continue with looks! I took advantage of thursday's holiday and I marked a vacation day on Friday. I confess that the rain left me the plans but it still knew well break the routine.
This break from work was marked by celebrations. True, this time of year is ripe for celebrations... there are weddings, baptisms, communions, and join to it I always have some birthdays. This year abounded communions, there were three. Great food, family, sun... I love it! The last two were on Thursday and Sunday. I didn't photographed the look, I was so tired that I had no patience for photos. But I promise I'll repeat, because I loved the result and I want to show you here!!
The Sunday's look was a stress. I have not bought new clothes for any of the parties, I had here at home some new pieces to debut and St. Peter walks too indecisive for any ordinary mortal dare to even invest in an outfit that in the moment of truth is inadequate. The truth is that the morning began with rain, and I soon tantrum so because what I was planning to use would be ridiculous with a time of those. At such times it's best to untangle, and this was the result! I replaced the white pants for jeans. I used my new shirt, and to give an up to the look I joined a silver shoes and white vest, and there she goes! Long celebration but with choreographed music on church, joy and balloons in the air because all that kids deserve. At the restaurant didn't lack GOOD food!! And I, confessed gluttonous, nor ate meat dish, because of course, I had to save a little space for this cake that was DI-VI-NAL. And ready, so it was my Sunday! And on that side, someone in party mode too?
